GREEN MATTERS EC (GME) is a social and fair trade enterprise based in Ecuador. GME sources the best organic certified EU- USDA guayusa to the world. The ilex guayusa or known as guayusa, is super amazon leaf that works perfectly as coffee replacement because is naturally packed with caffeine, amino-acids and contains twice as many antioxidants as green tea. Is hand picked (wildcrafted) by different communities located around the Amazon Rainforest of Ecuador

We also work with small growers from different parts of Ecuador, we process fruits, flowers, herbs, oils, and other magical plants such as caapi and moringa.

Our main goal is to provide a better lifestyle for all the families involved in the guayusa and other potential products; creating opportunities for them with a reliable source of income from our worldwide exportation and the sale of different raw and added value products.

GME is also environmentally and social responsible!

Green Matters pay fair prices to the growers, they are distributed between 38 communities around the amazon rainforest in Ecuador and we work under the rules of the Fair Trade Federation practices.
