Hylocereus megalanthus that grows in Colombia, Ecuador and northern parts of South America. The plant can grow up to 15 feet tall.

Hylocereus undatus, popularly called pitahaya or red pitahaya / pitaya / dragon fruit, is the most cultivated species of the genus Hylocereus. It is native to Central America and is widely distributed in tropical regions as Ecuador throughout the world, where it is cultivated as an ornamental plant and for harvesting its fruits.
